Oh, his shipper heart.
Orlando Jones stopped by the BuzzFeed office to give us his thoughts on his most beloved ships, slash fiction, and how kick-ass his co-star Lyndie Greenwood is.
“Ahh, Olicity. That’s all I wanted to say. I just wanted to say that. That’s all.”
“Now, this is tough. Isabella and Galavant, but what’s the ship name? ‘Cause I’m not sure. Is it…Isagalavant? Or just, Avant? Umm… Galabella! That’s hot. Either way, they need a ship name, write in the comments so we can figure out a ship name. This ship is going somewhere. I ain’t ashamed to say I like it.”
“‘Cause Lyndie Greenwood is awesome. And if you don’t think Lyndie Greenwood is awesome, then you can kiss my ass, OK? Straight up. Lyndie Greenwood is the entire reason for this ship.”
“Mmmm, Westallen. Candice [Patton] is awesome. She’s pretty and smart and cool — that’s my 14-year-old fangirl talking. And my 14-year-old fanboy is like, ‘She’s sexy, and there’s something about her as a person, I like feel her. Like, I love her. You can’t take that from me. I love her, too.’ Haha, OK, anyway.”
“You know, I don’t always ship slash, but when I do: Destiel. I was watching Sleepy Hollow the other night, and there was a scene between Thomas Jefferson and Ichabod Crane, and I swear to you, the writers had been reading slash. It was crazy, I loved it.”
“My top ship is always difficult to name. But in this case, I’m going to have to say it’s Ichabbie. Because, reasons. It’s Ichabbie. It’s like being down with the swirl — chocolaty and vanilla deliciousness! It’s English, but with a little hot sauce that Abbie brings. It’s lovely, come on. Quit hatin’.”
