Twitchy reported on the uproar over last week’s episode of the “Amazing Race” reality game show, in which contestants were told to memorize pro-commie lyrics while racing toward a downed American B-52 bomber in Hanoi, Vietnam. Veterans’ groups were rightly outraged. Folks on both sides of the political aisle brought the shame hammer down on CBS. Tonight, the network apologized for its “insensitive” decision. That’s an understatement.

@amazingrace_cbsAs a Vietnam vet I find your apology a good thing unlike some of your audience idiots apology accepted

If anti-American, anti-military CBS was really sorry – they never would’ve filmed the episode bit.ly/Zm8s8P

And good question:
Good to hear CBS apologized. I wonder how many people saw the apology, however, and how many decided never to watch The Amazing Race again.

Will you watch?
Update: The American Legion accepts the network’s apology.
