It’s true. Paul Ryan, who is widely considered the frontrunner for the GOP VP nomination, is white. And, to make matters worse, he is a guy.
To a number of Twitter users, this is evidence of a deep flaw:
Assuming it's Paul Ryan, Romney picking a white guy who wants to take away Social Security and Medicare. Who would have thought?!?

@5runrally He could choose Paul Ryan, who's a boring white guy with crazy economic policies. #wildcard

Well, Paul Ryan does fit "boring white guy"

If he picks Paul Ryan, you have another boring white guy on the ticket. If he picked me, I'd at least make it interesting.

Please let Romney pick Paul Ryan for VP, because 2 self-righteous, rich, white guys out of touch with America are always better than one.

Mitt Romney & Paul Ryan, 2012: Because rich white men aren't the whole reason America blows now.

I love white men and all…but if I gotta look at Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for 4 years I'll opt for blindness.

Looks like Paul Ryan for Romney's VP. This will he the whitest ticket since the KKK voted for their box social chairperson. #Veepstakes

Update: The meme continues.
On the other hand, they didn't lie. They DID pick a boring white guy.
— Markos Moulitsas (@markos) August 11, 2012
Romney/Ryan. A boring White guy & a younger boring White guy.
— Stuart (@TheAwesomeator) August 11, 2012
As a rich white guy, you'd think Mitt would choose someone other than another rich white guy, but I guess that's what gets Republican votes.
