Roma Downey thanks God for ‘The Bible’s’ success; viewers thank Downey for bringing it to life


Over 11 million people reportedly tuned in last night for the conclusion of “The Bible,” History’s five-part miniseries. This afternoon, co-producer Roma Downey gave thanks to God that the series reached so many people. Viewers tweeted back their appreciation for her and husband Mark Burnett’s deep religious faith and commitment to making the Bible accessible to a wide audience:
